Does anyone know where i can find out about becoming a foster parent?

I live in ohio. I need to know if there are certain income requirements before you can become a foster parent. Also i need to know if there is an age requirement. Could someeone help me find this information out please.Does anyone know where i can find out about becoming a foster parent?
When I was calling about adopting, I contacted the Catholic Charities Home in my town. They said you have to have a steady income to provide for the child. Age can be between 18-55 anyone older than that doesn't qualify. If you have a good home and a steady income you are ok.

You as a foster parent can get help from the Government because these Foster Programs are often paid for by the Government. You would get a check every month for the child you foster. Call your local Foster Program or contact the Welfare Office for more information. They can help. Good Luck!Does anyone know where i can find out about becoming a foster parent?
Get ahold of your local Child Protective services or department of human services...they should be able to tell you who to contact.
go to the local social services office they will know
Call your local Department of Family Services. I don't believe income is a requirement unless maybe you live in a cardboard box in an alley. Not trying to be funny. If you are truly serious, I know from my neighbor who works for them that they are always looking for good people to do this. Please if you are interested and not a pervert call them because there are a lot of children out there that need good/loving homes.
Try the nearest hospital in your neighborhood.

Ask a nurse about adopting babies. She'll do a criminal check on you and let you pick the child you'd want to keep with all of their information.
